Fantastic, not the ordinary bike tour of Havana
This was not your average bike tour. Our guide, who works for the owner, Tito, was Elvis, and he was fantastic. He really made sure we got to see the "real" Havana outside the tourist areas. He provided the cultural history of the city and really distilled things down beautifully. What is most important is that we really got a feel for the geography of the city as we biked through all the main sections, from west to east; Veradero, Habana Centro, the old town (Habana Vieja). We would have continued on to Miramar and the rain forrest, but because the sun was so strong on this particular day, we decided to stop after three hours of biking. If you are looking to get a broad overview of the city, and especially veer outside the typical touristy areas (which is the only way to experience Havana), I could not more highly recommend this tour. And by the way, Elvis even bought us some Guarapo to try. It was a very refreshing beverage made out of sugarcane and served with ice. The pace of the ride is leisurely. special private bike trip in cuba
bikerentalhavana is owned by Tito as an independent tour operator. he provides bikes and makes all arrangments including, great guide, all meals, accomodations; his rates are very reasonable. our guide was elvis; educated, intellignet; fluent english . my wife and i went ourselves because no group available for our dates, with car and wagon for bikes. we wanted to see historically famous Trinidad, which is over 200km from havana so we drove part [to bay of pigs] and biked part. spent three nights in trinidad staying at elegant private home with garden in which we could read and relax and eat great breakfasts. we then went to Varadero for two nights - vacation/beach community; many opportunities for swimming if you wish. as we requested we had fresh fish every night for dinner with salad and one drink included. we left modest tip for all waiters.

Can’t miss this!!!
Definitely recommend!!! The Real Havana Tour is a must do! Elvis was a great guide, very knowledgeable and pleasant, and gave us a fantastic historical overview of La Havana. very insightful tour

Best introduction to Havana, Cuba !!!
Havana is an awesome city, which is best discovered with the aid of a tour guide. The bike tour with this company met my expectations and BEYOND ! My guide, Elvis, was very funny and informative. I did not only got to know the city, but also the history of the country and the way Cuban people live their day-to-day life. Do this tour as soon as you arrive to Havana! I highly recommend it. No solamente nos explicó la historia de la ciudad sino la vida de los cubanos y contestó honestamente a cualquier curiosidad que tuviéramos respecto a la vida isleña.
